RESOLUTION NO. 81-362
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ACCEPTING THE REVIEW
APPRAISER'S DETERMINATION OF FAIR MARKET VALUE OF TWO PARCELS OF
VACANT LAND SITUATED NORTH OF SEVENTH STREET. EAST OF MT. VERNON AVENUE.
SAN BERNARDINO. CALIFORNIA. AND CERTIFYING THE WORK OF THE APPRAISERS.
WHEREAS. City of San Bernardino is contemplating the purchase of
two parcels of vacant land situated North of Seventh Street. East of
Mt. Vernon Avenue. in the City of San Bernardino; and
WHEREAS. Gene T. Inouye and Kazuko Inouye. husband and wife
and Lloyd K. Inouye. a single man; Eugene T. Inouye, a single man;
Lillian M. Inouye. a single woman. respectively are the owners of the lots
and parcels of real property indicated as Parcels No.1 and 2 herein; and
WHEREAS. the City desires to. now purchase the said lots and
parcels of real property; and
WHEREAS. City has reviewed the appraiser's determination of the
fair market value of the land and his reports thereon and has specifically
reviewed and studied the review appraiser's determination of the fair
market value and his report thereon; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to purchase said lots and parcels
of real property with Community Development funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That said lots and parcels of real property owned by Gene T. Inouye
and Kazuko Inouye, husband and wife as to Parcel No.1 and Lloyd K. Inouye,
a single man, Eugene T. Inouye, a single man, Lillian M. Inouye. a single
woman as to Parcel No.2 in the City of San Bernardino located North of
Seventh Street, East of Mt. Vernon Avenue are described as follows:
All that real property in the County of San Bernardino,
State of California, described as follows:

Parcel No. 1
That portion of Lot 9, Block 18, Rancho San Bernardino, as per
plat thereof recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 2, records of
the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point 136.68 feet North of the Southwest corner
of said Lot 9; thence East, 140 feet; thence North 45.56
feet; thence West, 140 feet to the West line of said lot;
thence South, 45.56 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Parcel No.2
That portion of Lot 9, Block 18, Rancho San Bernardino, as
per plat thereof recorded in Book 7 of Maps, page 2, records
of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of
California, described as follows:
Beginning 91.12 feet North of the Southwest corner of said
Lot 9; thence East, 140 feet; thence North, 45.56 feet;
thence West, 140 feet to the West line of said Lot 9; thence
South, 45.56 feet to the Point of Beginning,
is hereby determined, based upon all of the appraisers' reports submitted
herewith, to have a fair market value of $22,500 as to Parcel No.1 and
$22,500 as to Parcel No.2 and said amount is hereby established as the
fair market value for said property.
2. The City of San Bernardino does hereby certify that the work of
the appraisers and the review appraiser with respect to the lots and
parcels of real property has been performed in a competent manner in
accordance with the applicable State law, the Act, and Department of
Housing and Urban Development policies and requirements.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted
by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at an
Adiourned ReQu1armeeting thereof, held on the 17
day of
