a A RESOWfION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY HEREINAFTER
3 DESl(~ATED AS THE 93rd ANNEXATION DISfRICT OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.

WHEREAS, and heretofore, there has been presented to the Mayor and
5 Common Council of the City of San Bernardino a written petition containing a
6 description of certain territory which is hereinafter more specifically described
7 and said petition requested that said territory be annexed to and included in the
8 City of San Bernardino in accordance with the provisions of the "Annexation of
9 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939" as contained in Government Code Section
10 35300, et seq., and

WHEREAS, the Council has made a complete investigation and report in
12 reference thereto;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMM~
14 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION ONE: That a written petition containing a description of cer-
16 tain uninhabited territory, hereinafter more specifically described, has been
17 presented to the City Council of the City of San Bernardino.

SECTION TWO: That said petition contains a description of certain un~
19 inhabited territory sought to be included in the City of San Bernardino, and that
20
21
petition is signed by the owners of not less than one-fourth of the assessed
alue of said territory according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll
22 of the County of San Bernardino, in which said County the City of San Bernardino
23
is situated.

SECTION THREE: That notice is, therefore, hereby given of the proposed
nnexation to the City of San Bernardino of the uninhabited territory contiguous
o the City of San Bernardino, the boundaries of which are particularly described
to wit:
All of those portions of Lot 11 through 18, inclusive, Mt. Vernon
Orange Grove and Fruit Company's lands, as per plat recorded in Book
12, of Maps at page 16, Records of the County Recorder of San Bernardino
County, described as follows:

Beginning at a point on the present corporate limits of the City of
San Bernardino, said point being on the North line of Lot 11 of said
Mt. Vernon Orange Grove and Fruit Company's Lands, ISO feet west of
the West line of Muscott Street, 82.SO feet wide, as delineated on said

said map of the It. Vernon Orange Grove and Fruit Company's Lands;
thence southerly and parallel to the west line of said Muscott Street.
being along the present corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino,
to a point 801.45 feet north of the north line of Base Line Street,
82.50 feet wide. as delineated on the map of the Rancho San Bernardino.
as per plat recorded in Book 1 of Maps at page 2, Records of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino County; thence westerly and parallel
to the North line of said Base Line Street. being along the present
corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino, 843.81 feet; thence
southerly and parallel to the west line of said Muscott Street. being
along the present corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino,
141.45 feet; thence westerly and parallel to the north line of said
Base Line Street, being along the present corporate limits of the City
of San Bernardino, to the east line of the H. H. Linville's Subdivision,
as per plat recorded in Book 8 of laps at page 41, records of the
County Recorder of San Bernardino County; thence northerly along the
east line of said H. H. Linville's Subdivision and the east line of
Lot 6, Block 58 of said Rancho San Bernardino, being along the present
corporate limits of the City of San Bernardino tbthe northwest corner
of Lot 11 of said It. Vernon Orange Grove and Fruit Company's Lands;
thence easterly along the north line of Lots 11, 18 and 11 of said Mt.

Further notice is hereby given that any property owner within said
4 territory desiring to protest against said annexation must make such protest in
5 writing and file it with the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino not later

SECTION SEVEN: That the San Bernardino Evening Telegram, a newspaper

12 hereby designated as the newspapers in which this resolution shall be published
13 City Clerk in the manner, form and time prescribed by law.
