RESOLUTION NO. 86 255
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO VACATING A
PORTION OF CRESCENT STREET BETWEEN COLUMBIA STREET AND "G"
STREET, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND RESERVING PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENTS THEREIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino, having heard the evidence offered in relation
to the proposed vacation of a portion of Crescent Street
between Columbia Street and "G" Street, more particularly
described in City Resolution of Intention No. 86-219, hereby
find from all of the evidence submitted that such street
proposed to be vacated by said Resolution is unnecessary for
present or prospective street purposes.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and Common Council of said City do
hereby vacate a portion of Crescent Street between Columbia
Street and "G" Street, more particularly described as follows:
Crescent Street as del ineated on Parcel Map No.
6406 as recorded in Book 68 of Parcel Maps,
Pages 89 and 90, records of the County Recorder,
State of California, and that portion of
Crescent Street:
A portion of Crescent Avenue South of Columbia
Street, in said City, which said portion more
particularly described is as follows:
All that portion of Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 12,
Rancho San Bernardi no, as per plat thereof
recorded in Book 7 of Maps, at Page 2, Records
of the County Recorder of the San Bernardino
County, State of California, and being described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the west line of "G"
Street, said point being 1397.74 feet South of
the South line of Columbia Street, 55 feet wide;
thence North 37015'08" West, 368.17 feet; thence
North 0041'53" West, being along a line parallel

with the West line of "G" Street, 555.80 feet to
the South line of Lot 5, Block 12, of said
Rancho San Bernardino; thence South 89018'07"
West, being along the South line of said Lot
5, 40 fee t; the nee Sou thO 0 41' 5 3" E a s t, be i n g
along a line parallel with the West line of "G"
Street, 528.69 feet; thence South 37015'08"
East, 453.35 feet to a point in the West line of
"G" Street; thence North 0041'53" West, being
along the West line of "G" Street, 25.19 feet to
the Point of Beginning.
And is also described in said Resolution No. 86-219.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall reserve, and nothing
herein shall in any way affect or disturb each and every
existing easement for sanitary sewer and appurtenant facilities
and for public utility purposes belonging either to the City of
San Bernardino or to any public utility and there is further
reserved for present and future general public utility purposes
and for this City an easement reasonably necessary to locate
sanitary sewer, public utility and appurtenant facilities over,
in, under or across the real property described hereinbefore
along' with the right to use, install, maintain, repair, replace
or renew such facilities and those reserved by Resolution of
Intention No. 86-219.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino
shall cause a certified copy of this Resolution to be recorded
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San
Bernardino.
