BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council authorize the Director of Finance or designee to issue a Purchase Order not to exceed $95,791.83 to Zoll Medical Corporation, as a selected source vendor for defibrillators and accessories as set forth in the Quotation, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by this reference. SECTION 2. This awarding of the purchase order to Zoll Medical Corporation is exempt from the formal contract procedure set forth in San Bernardino Municipal Code Section 3.04.070 by the exemption set forth in San Bernardino Municipal Code Section 3.04.010(B)(3). SECTION 3. The Purchase Order shall reference this Resolution and shall be issued to Zoll Medical Corporation in an amount not to exceed $95,791.83; SECTION 5. The authorization to execute the above-referenced Purchase Order IS rescinded ifit is not issued within sixty (60) days of the passage of this resolution.
