HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-103 1 2 RESOLUTION NO. 7007-103 3 RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF FOUR PROJECT 4 APPLICATIONS FOR FY 2007 HIGHWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 5 (HSIP) FUNDING. 6 7 WHEREAS, the HSIP Program was elevated to a core program as a result of the passage 8 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient, Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users 9 (SAFETEA-LU); 10 11 12 13 14 WHEREAS, the prevIOus Hazard Elimination Safety Program (HES) has been superceded and removed from statute; and WHEREAS, The City has identified the following four projects for consideration in the FY 2007 HSIP funding cycle; which require a 10% local match: 15 16 1. Radar Speed Feedback Signs (Citywide) Local Match HSIP Funds Total Cost $ 10,000 $ 90,000 $ 100,000 $ 17,500 $ 157,500 $ 175,000 $ 20,600 $ 185,400 $ 206,000 $ 4.500 $ 40.500 $ 45.000 $ 52,600 $ 473,400 $ 526,000 17 2. Industrial Parkway Two-way Left-turn Lane Total HSIP Project funding breakdown: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino hereby authorize the submission of the above-referenced four project 25 applications for FY 2007 Highway Safety Improvement Program Funding. 26 27 28 1 RESOLUTION...
