The League of Califomia Cities Annual Conference is scheduled for Wednesday,
September 5 through Saturday, September 8, 2007, in Sacramento, Califomia. One
very important aspect of the Annual Conference is the General Business Meeting when

To expedite the conduct of business at the above-referenced policy-making meeting,
the League has requested that each City designate a voting delegate and up to two
alternate voting delegates. At least one must be present at the Business Meeting on
Saturday, September 8, 2007, and in possession of the voting card in order to cast a
vote.
Mayor Morris, Council Member Derry, and City Manager Wilson plan to attend the

Morris as the voting delegate and Council Member Derry and City Manager Wilson as
the two altemate voting delegates.
Voting delegates must be designated as soon as possible so that proper records can be
established for the conference. The City Clerk'sOftice must retum the "Voting Delegate
Form" to Sacramento no later than August 13, 2007.
