q i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY j
OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: I

SECTION 1. Recitals.

(a) The General Plan of the City of San Bernardino was

8 liladopted by the Mayor and Common Council by Resolution No. 7336 on
(August 17, 1964.

t0 (b) Adoption of Amendment No. 25 to the General Plan of
it the City of San Bernardino, amending the Land Use Element, was
I
12 'recommended by the Planning Commission of the City of San Bernar-
t3 'dino on September 4, 1979, by Resolution No. PC-79-8, after a
t4 Regally advertised public hearing. ~
I
15 I (c) A negative declaration, complete with an environ-
16 mental description form, relating to Amendment No. 25, has been
17 reviewed and approved by the Planning Commission and the Mayor
t8 and Common Council in accordance with the California Environmental
19 Quality Act and local regulations.
20 (d) The Mayor and Common Council reviewed and considered
21 Amendment No. 25 on September 17, 1979.
22 (e) The Mayor and Common Council find that the closure of
23 Metcalf School necessitates a change in the General Plan designa-
24 tion of the former school site.
25 (f) The adoption of Amendment No. 25 is deemed in the
26 interest of the orderly development of the City and important to
27 the health, safety and welfare of the City.
28 SECTION 2. Amendment. Land Use Element of the General

1 Plan of the City of San Bernardino is amended in the area north
2 of Mill Street and west of Eureka Avenue, as outlined on the map
3 'entitled Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and
q~ incorporated herein by reference, to reflect residential uses
5 ~ with a maximum of 10 dwelling units per net acre.

6 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

7 ; adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
g Bernardino at a meeting thereof, held ~
