HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979-261 .- .. 1 2 IV \ 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 :~ ." ,~ -t. ~::- ~.;' RESOLUTION NO. 79'- c:? 6/ RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 1.09 ACRES OF REAL PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE STATE COLLEGE INDUSTRIAL PARK AT THE NORTH END OF HALLMARK PARKWAY IN THE STATE COLLEGE PROJECT AREA TO THE SAN BERNARDINO WEST SIDE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO (HEALTH & SAFETY CODE SECTION 33433). WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino proposes to sell to the San Bernardino West Side Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", approximately 1.09 acres of real property located within the State College Project Area, described in Exhibit "A" attache~ hereto and incorporated herein by reference as though set forth in full, for the sum of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Five Dollars ($4,905.00) which will be paid by the Developer in cash; and WHEREAS, Developer proposes to develop on said real property the CDC Energy Technology Center; and WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of hearing has been given as required by law; and WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency has made available for public inspection and copying a summary of financial aspects of the proposed sale; and WHEREAS, the summary of financial aspects of the sale represents that the fair market value of the property is $17,440.0 and WHEREAS, all hearings have been heard as required by Health and Safety Code Section 33433, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: . . ~ 1 SECTION 1. It is found and declared that the considera- 2 tion for said real property, in accordance with covenants and 3 conditions governing such sale, may be less than the fair market 4 value of the property determined at the highest use permitted 5 under the plan, and that sale for such consideration is necessary 6 to effectuate the purposes of the plan for the following reasons: 7 (a) The land is being sold to San Bernardino West Side 8 Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit corporation, at 9 a write-down of $12,535.00 to encourage the development of 10 minority enterprise and to provide employment for minorities. 11 SECTION 2.
