4 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING A LIEN ON
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
5 FOR THB COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE.

WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its

authority under City Ordinance ~o. 2291

16 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The hearing is closed; the costs are found to

have been duly incurred by the City pursuant to proceedings under
19
said Ordinance; and the final statement of costs on file with the
20
City Clerk is hereby confirmed and adopted as a special assessment
21
in the sum of five thousand two hundred eighty-two dollar~ and
seventy-six cents against the property known as 1096 West 5th
22

Street, San Bernardino, California,

and more particularly described as all lots 8 thru 13. inclusive.

SECTION 2. If said sum is not fully paid to the City
Clerk, City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the
passage of this Resolution, then said sum shall be and become a
lien on said property pursuant to said Ordinance and applicable
laws and shall be collected as a special assessment thereon.
SECTION 3. In the event said sum is not paid as herein-
above provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file certi-
fied copies of this Resolution with the Recorder and the Auditor
of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, directing
that said sum be entered as lien charges against said property
as it appears on the current assessment rolls, to be collected
at the same time and in.;he ., ame manner, subj ect to the same
penalties and interest upon delinquencies, as the general taxes
for the City of San Berndrdir.o are collected.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly

In answer to a complaint, an' inspection was made of the above
structure/s and premises. It. was found to be hazardous, unsightly
and a public nuisance as defined by Sections of City Ordinance No. 2291
and the U. B. C. By an act; on of the Board of Buil di ng Commi ss i oners
and affi rmed by the Mayor and Council the pub 1 i c nui sance ~/as ordered
abated. The total costs accrued for demolition and removal of the
nuisance are $5,282.76.
These costs are now due and payable. An appeal may be made within
ten (10) days to. the Common Council. The costs incurred shall become a
lien upon the real property unless paid to the City Clerk with thirty (30)
days of the mailing of this notice.
