A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDIN ORDERING THE VACATION OF
THE SOUTH 11.25 FEET OF TWENTY-EIGHTH STREET BETWEEN VALENCIA AVENUE AND SAN
GABRIEL STREET, IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND RESERVING PUBLIC UTILITY
EASEMENTS THEREIN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
5 BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardin ,
1 having heard the evidence offered in relation to the proposed vacation of the
8 South 11.25 feet of Twenty-eighth Street between Valencia Avenue and San
9. Gabriel Street, more particularly described in City Resolution of Intention
10 No. 79-75,hereby find from all of the evidence submitted that such portion of
11 Twenty-eighth Street proposed to be vacated by said resolution is unnecessary
12 for present or prospective public street purposes.
13 SECTION 2. The Mayor and Common Council of said City do hereby order
14 the vacation of the South 11.25 feet of Twenty-eighth Street between Valencia
15 Avenue and San Gabriel Street, San Bernardino, California, more particularly
16 described as follows;
11 That portion of 28th Street lying between the East line of
Valencia Avenue and the West line of San Gabriel Street as
18 said streets are delineated on the Map of Tract No. 3088 as
per plat thereof recorded in Book 42 of Maps, Page 18, records
19 of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of
California, described as follows:

Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of said
Valencia Avenue and the South line of said 28th Street; thence
North along said East line of Valenc~a Avenue to the intersection
with a line that is parallel with an~ 11.25 feet North of and
measured at right angles to the South line of said 28th Street;
thence East along said parallel line, a distance of 320 feet to
the West line of said San Gabriel Street; thence South along said
West line, 11.25 feet to the South line of said 28th Street; thence
West along said South line 320 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 0.083 acres.
And is also described in said Resolution No. 79-75.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall reserve, and nothing herein shall
in any way affect or distUrb, each and every existing easement for sanitary

sewer and appurtenant facilities and for public utility purposes belonging
either to the City of San Bernardino or to any public utility and there is
further reserved for present and future general public utility purposes and
for this City an easement reasonably necessary to locate sanitary sewer,
public utility and appurtenant facilities over, in, under or across all of
the real property described hereinbefore along with the right to use, install,
maintain, repair, replace or renew such facilities and those reserved by Resoll
tion of Intention No. 79-75.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino shall cause
a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of San Bernardino.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Mayor and Cotmllon Council of the City of San Bernardino at a. /?T'~~./
