A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF MAGNOLIA AVENUE BETWEEN LITTLE LEAGUE DRIVE AND IRVINGTON AVENUE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino hereby declares its intention to order the vacation of a portion of Magnolia Avenue between Little League Drive and Irvington Avenue, in said City, which said portion more particularly is described as follows: That portion of Magnolia Avenue, 60.00 feet, wide lying between Blocks 71 and 77, Irvington Land and Water Company Subdivision as per plat thereof recorded in Book 1 of Records of Survey, page 32, records of the County Recorder of San Bernardino County, State of California, and lying between the Northerly line of Little League Drive, 60.00 feet wide as conveyed to the City of San Bernardino by documents recorded April 18, 1972 in Book 7911, page 578, Official Records of said County and May 19, 1972 in Book 7935, page 779, Official Records of said County, and the Southerly line of Irvington Avenue, as reduced in width to 60.00 feet by Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino on May 27, 1929. SECTION 2. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, in vacating the above described portion of said street, elects to proceed under and in accordance with the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. SECTION 3. That the hour of 2:30 P.M., on the 2nd day of April, 1979, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, San Bernardino, California, be, and the same hereby is fixed as the time and place when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may appear before the said Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of the hereinbefore described portion of said street, reference is made to that certain map marked 1 "Plan No. 5483" approved February 19, 1979, on file in the office of the 2 City Clerk of said City. 3 SECTION 4. That the City Engineer of the City of San Bernardino 4 hereby is directed to cause Notices of Street Vacation to be posted as 5 required by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. 6 SECTION 5.
