DescriPtion) N/A Council Notes: 75-0262 Finance: Agenda Item No 025 CITY ~OF SAN BERt4tRDINO - REQUEST eR COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT The City was recently offered some land, located along the West side of Walkinshaw street, North of Valley Street. These vacant parcels are remnant lots adjacent to the 1-215 Freeway, and collectively represent a narrow strip of land, approximately 28 feet in width. The total area is approximately 9400 square feet. The offer is being made to the City as a gift and at no cost to the City. Since the land in question is quite narrow, it is unusable for any development. However, since it is located along the 1-215 Freeway, it would be of interest for future widening of the freeway, and the City could receive compensation from Cal-Trans when that should occur.
