"';..":--,,,'7\W.~t-..~K"H_ _-,,__J't;;-/-1.~': :fl,':!",J'-'.'i.'$P~#:'jW;._~ _~_'J~.;""-,,,,_._ ..,.._.....~~. 1'",''7WI!!IPi[$!JD-,~:,','P>-m~~~_,.._.l\'!~'_'"'.~~~ ... ; ---" ... .P'''-', 1. 3 Bear the entire cost of work to be performed pursuant to paragra.ph 1. 1 hereof. 1. 4 Remove or cause to be removed all encroachments necessary for construction. 1. 5 Negotiate for relocation of all utilities which interfere with construction of project. 1.6 Construct or cause to be constructed all improvements referred to herein according to the official specifications. 1.7 Upon completion of construction, certify to CITY that work has been accomplished substantially in accordance with the approved specifications and furhish CITY with a set of spec ifications. 2. 0 CITY SHALL: 2.1 Reimburse COUNTY, upon statement therefor, for CITY'S share of costs for paving and appurtenant work constructed on 8&id portion of Dumas Street, in the amount of $2,650.00. 3.0 IT IS FURTHER AGREED THAT: 3.1 Neither COUNTY nor any officer or employee thereof shall be responsible for any damage or liability occurring by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by CITY under or in connection with any work, authority or jurisdiction delegated to CITY under this Agreement. 3.2 Pursuant to Government Code Section 895.4. CITY shall fully indemnify and hold COUNTY harmless from any liability imposed for injury (as defined by Government Code Section 810.8) oceurring by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by CITY under or in connection with any work, authority or jurisdiction delegated to CITY under this Agreement. 3.3 Neither CITY nor any officer or employee thereof shall be responsible for any damage or liability occurring by reason of anything done or omitted to be done by COUNTY under or in eonnection with any work, authority or jurisdiction not delegated to CITY under this Agreement. - 2 - ,~'" ~'!!.-.;._.'" ~ . .." \~ ,. - 3."
