9. Community Service Officer I (Sandoval S.) - Promotion
POLICE
The Police Department currently has three (3) openings in our Community Service
Representative I position. The department may assign Community Service Officers to
the front desk or the field depending on assignment requests. This promotion will
increase the efficiency of service to the public by responding to calls for service or walk-
in and telephone inquiries. Filling this position is critical in order to free up time for
Police Officers to respond to more critical emergency calls.
10-11. Maintenance Worker II (Bash. C.; Hager. J.) -Promotion
PUBLIC SERVICES
Both employees are current Maintenance Worker I employees in the Street Division.
Their experiences working as Maintenance Worker I have enabled them to learn various
skills that are needed for the vacant Maintenance Worker II positions. Filling these
positions will increase productivity in the Public Services Department in areas such as
maintenance, construction and repair of City sidewalks, streets and sewers, thereby
enhancing services to the public.
