04-07-97 Plans approved and authorization granted to advertise
for bids.
06-02-97 Resolution No. 97-159 adopted awarding a contract for
the low bid price of $111,500.
Recommended motion:
That the transfer of $ 7,500, from

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
A contract for modification of traffic signals at Mt.
Vernon Avenue and 7th Street, and Marshall Boulevard and "E"
Street,was awarded at the Council neeting of 6-02-97. The total
estimated cost of this project is $127,500.
A total amount of $120,000 has been allocated for these
traffic signal upgrades, under Accounts No. 250-370-5504-7077
and 250-370-5504-7078. Supplemental funds in the amount of
$7,500 will, therefore, be needed to fully finance the total
estimated project cost. The necessary supplemental funds could
be allocated from the available balance under Account No. 250-
370-5504-1942, "Minor Improvements - Various Locations."
We recommend that the transfer of the necessary supple-
mental funds be approved.
