Synopsis of Previous Council action:
5/5/97 - The Community Development Commission approved a $88,284 increase to the
Code Compliance Division FY 96-97 budget for demolition, board-up, and public
nuisance abatement costs.

Recommended motion:
That the Mayor and Common Council authorize the Director of Finance to amend
the Fiscal Year 1996-1997 budget to reflect the increase of $88,284 for demolitions,
and the reimbursement to be received from EDA Project #90-11.5 Demolition, for the
costs as outlined in the attached staff report.

STAFF REPORT
BACKGROUND
On May 5. 1997 the Community Development Commission authorized an
increase to the Code Compliance Division. Fiscal Year 1996-1997
Demolition Account in the amount of $88.284 for demolition associated
costs.
RECOMMEImATIOB
That the Mayor and Common Council authorize the Finance Director to
make the following amendments to the FY 1996-1997 budget to reflect the
funding to be received from EDA for demolition costs.

Increase 001-000-4670. EDA Reimbursement

FISCAL IHPACT TO CITY
Because revenues and expenditures are being increased equally. the
