Recommended motion:
That the plans for installation of bicycle lanes on Kendall Drive,
from 40th Street to Palm Avenue, in accordance with Plan No. 9640,
be approved, and the Director of Public Works/City Engineer be
authorized to advertise for bids.

CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
Plans for installation of bicycle lanes on Kendall Drive,
from 40th Street to Palm Avenue, have been completed, and the
project is ready to be advertised for bids. The project
consists, in general, of placing additional asphalt concrete
pavement, and installing traffic line stripes and signs, except
for the south side, between University Parkway and Little
Mountain Drive, where the bicycle lane will not be installed in
order to maintain parking for the abutting residences.
Below is an estimate of the total project cost:

All costs incurred for this project will be charged to
the $120,000 allocated under Account No. 122-373-5504-7046.
SANBAG has approved a grant from Transportation Development Act
(TDA), Article 3, Program Funds, to reimburse the City for the
construction costs incurred.
We recommend that the plans be approved and authorization
granted to advertise for bids.
