SvnoDSis of Previous Commission/Council/Committee Action(s):
On October 21, 1996, the Mayor and Common Council adopted the Community Development Citizen Advisory
Committee's recommendations for the Reallocation of 1995/1996 Fiscal Year funds and authorized the Mayor to
submit these projects as part of the amended Seeond Year Action Plan component of the Consolidated Plan to the
U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

MOTION:
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino accept these projects as part
of the Consolidated Plan and authorize and direct the execution ofa Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Funding Agreement between the City of San Bernardino and the
corresponding Agencies.

Consolidated Plan Related Items
The Amended Second Year Plan was approved by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of
San Bernardino on October 21, 1996 and has been accepted by the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development (HUD).
HUD requires that all environmental reviews be completed prior to any funds being committed, or
agreements executed. Staffhas received the completed environmental reviews on the first group
of reallocation projects listed below and is now requesting authorization to execute standard
CDBG Agreements.
