First Amendment - Campfire Bovs & Girls: Hiehland District Council on Aeine
This item requests additional funds and/or an extension of time for project completion for the
following projects:
CAMPFIRE BOYS & GIRLS - SAN ANDREAS
On July 1, 1995, an Agreement (95-211) between the City and the Club was effective. The
agreement provided Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds for air
conditioning units, a fire and sprinkler alarm system, security fencing and lighting and any
necessary engineering and design specifications, for the building located at 536 West 11th Street.
In January 1997, an invitation for bid was released and two (2) bids received after the bid opening
in February. The original amount ofCDBG funds awarded to the project was $45,200. The bids
received were for $51,524 without fees for permits and $51,363 with permit fees. Allowing for a
contingency, an additional $11,800 is needed to assure the completion of the project. Also, the
original agreement had an expiration date of December 31, 1996. This date needs to be extended
to June 30, 1997 to allow for an adequate construction period.
IDGHLAND SENIOR CENTER
