Due to a personal emergency, the coordinator of the event missed
the deadline for placing the request on an appropriate agenda prior
to the event. Therefore, as all requirements for the event had
been met, and approval was given for conduct of the event by the
Chief of Police, the Mayor approved the waiver of fees and the item
is now being placed before the Council for ratification of that
action.

Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus Convention from 8 a,m, to 5
p.m. on Court Street Square.
To hold such an event requires City ::upport services and with these services costs are incurred,
On behalf of the San Bernardino Fir(fighters I am requesting a waiver of fees for the event not to
include the one day insurance coverage through Risk Management.
