Prevention Bureau.
The Fire Prevention Bureau had a staffing level of nine (9) positions in 1990 and is
currently authorized two (2) Fire Prevention Officer positions.

positions will enable the Parks Division to utilize labor in a more responsive mode in
dealing with emergencies, vandalism repair and daily maintenance functions at city
facilities.
These promotions to the higher-skilled classification of PMW II will provide the Parks
Division the flexibility in utilizing personnel in providing the much needed leadership of
small crews for landscape maintenance, construction and the operation of various
landscape equipment. (i.e., large tractors and mowers).
