RESOLUTION NO. 2006-298
RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN BERNARDINO NAMING THE PARK TO BE DEVELOPED ON PINE
A VENUE IN THE VERDEMONT AREA NORM JOHNSON MEMORIAL PARK,
RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 2003-193, AND RENAMING THE PORTION OF
STATE STREET, FROM 270 FEET NORTH OF HIGHLAND AVENUE TO ITS
PROPOSED SOUTHERLY EXTENSION TO FOOTHILL BOULEVARD, TO
UNIVERSITY PARKWAY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the park to be developed on Pine Avenue in the Verdemont Area be
named Norm Johnson Memorial Park.
SECTION 2. That Resolution 2003-193 is hereby rescinded, and that the portion of
State Street within the City limits of San Bernardino between a point 270 feet north of
Highland A venue to its proposed southerly extension to Foothill Boulevard, is hereby renamed
to University Parkway.
SECTION 3:
That this Resolution shall have no effect until a certified copy is
recorded with the County Recorder of San Bernardino County.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Mayor
and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at a j t. regular meeting thereof, held
on the 21st day of August , 2006, by the following vote, to wit:
