STAFF REPORT
On November 20, 1989, the Mayor and Common Council
adopted Resolution No. 89-459 amending the sewer fees collected.
Due to a clerical e~ror, a critical point was left out of line 22
of the resolution. Specifically, the words "per bedroom" were
deleted. This omission has a significant effect on the overall
program and the words "per bedroom" need to be added to the
resolution. For examp,e under the present wording, a 3 bedroom
house would pay only about $223, instead of $669 as intended.
Upon discussion with the City Attorney's staff, the most
effective way to accomplish this is the adoption of another reso-
lution amending the recent Resolution No. 89-459. The proposed
resolution is the same as the recently adopted one with the
addition of the words "per bedroom" and other minor changes to
implement the amendments.
We recommend that the resolution amending Resolution No.
89-459 be adopted.
