BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HAYOR AND COH140N COUNCIL OF THE Crry OF SAN BERNARDINO: SECTION 1. That the Hayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino hereby declares its intention to order the v!"cstion of an alley bet"een Seventh Street and EiGhth Street in said City, which said portion more Darticularly is described as follows: Commencing at the Hortheast corner of Lot 12, Block 1, Allens Sub- division, as per !llat recor(led in Book 3 of l;~lDs, 8t Page 60, records of the County Recorder, San Bern2rdino County, California; thence South along the East line of Lots 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, and 7, Block 1, said Allens Subdivision to the Southeast corner of Lot 7; thence Ebst to the South1orest corner of Lot 24, said Block 1, sa.id Allens Su"bdivision; thence North to the Northvrest corner of Lot 19, said Block 1, sa.id Allens Subdivision; thence West to the Northeast corner of Lot 12, beinv the point of beginning. SECTION 2. Ths,t the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino, in vacating the above described Dortion of said alley, elects to proceed uwIer ,~nd in accordance l-rl th the provisions of the "Street Vacation Act of 1941", being Division 9,Part 3, of the Streets and Highlorays Co,Ie of the State of California. SECTION 3. Tha.t the hour of 7:30 olclock P.M., of the 20th day of JUly, 1953, in the Council Ch8mber of the City Hall, Sa.n BernarcUno, Cslifornia, be, and the same hereby is fixed as the time and Dlsce when and ,.'here Hll p8rsons interested in or objecting to the ")rot)osed vacation may appeer before the said Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in relation thereto. For further D8rticulars as to the Droposed vacation of the hereinbefore described alley, reference is mad,e to th!,.t certain map m:lrked uDra'Hing No. 2118," ap'}roved Ju.ne 3, 1953, on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City. T',s t the City Engineer of the City of San EernarQino hereby is directed to ~ause Notices of Street Vacation to be ~osted as recuired by the Street Vacation Act of 1941. SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the a(loption of this Resolution of Intention and ShE,ll CBuse the same to be Dublishect t1dce in The San Bernardino Telep;ram, a nev'sDaper nublished. and. cir- culeted in the City of Son Bernardino, the first of such -mblic",tions to be made not less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the above public hearing. SECTION 6. The City Clerk shell certify to .the adoption of this re solution and thenceforth and hereafter the S8me sha 11 be in full force end effect.
