OF SAN .BRNA.lINO - RBQUBST FO'COUNCIL ACTION STAFF REPORT - The proposed fees are principally associated with the renovation of the perris Hill Plunge. This facility, which is scheduled to be re-opened by July, 1993, will have several new amenities and uses which require appropriate fee schedules. The facility with its new open foyer, is ideally suited for family or large group swim parties. Uses may include children's birthday parties or company picnics. The faeil'ity charges are based on use of the foyer, the swimming pools, water slide, kitchen and locker rooms. The new water slide is proposed for a $.50 per session charge. This fee is very nominal and will help offset operating costs to staff this special feature. Revenues from the water slide are expected to generate a minimum of $10,000 annually. The Family Swim Pass is proposed at $50 per season. The pass allows an immediate family admission to any pool for the entire season. The pass is an excellent alternative for large families to provide healthy, inexpensive activities. A family of five that utilized a pool just two days a week would otherwise pay $110 on individual admissions. The pass does not include use of the water slide. A fee is also proposed fo~ adult drop-in basketball. Drop-in basketball for adults 1S scheduled at Hernandez Center Mondays-Fridays from 12: 30 - 3: 30 PM. Attendance ranges from 15 to 50. If attendance remains stable, revenues could reach $10,000 annually. The cities of Rialto ($2), ontario ($2) and Loma Linda University ($5) have similar fees. fees.prcs.fac.modify-u 4/26/93 . . 1 RESOLUTION NO. 2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AMENDING RESOLUTION 91-35 ADDING AND MODIFYING FEES FOR USE OF BUILDINGS, SPORTS 3 FACILITIES, PARK AND RECREATION FACILITIES, PARKS AND PARKING LOTS, EQUIPMENT AND STURGES AUDITORIUM. 4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 5 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 6 7 find: SECTION 1.
