2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO ALLOCATING 125
UNDESIGNATED PARKING SPACES IN THE FIVE-LEVEL PARKING STRUCTURE TO
3 PACIFIC FEDERAL PLAZA BUILDING.
4 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO.

SECTION 1. Recitals.

(al The present owners of the Pacific Federal Plaza
IBuilding, located at the southwest corner of the intersection of
"D" Street and Court Street in the City of San Bernardino, have

requested that the City concur in the allocation of 125 parking
11
spaces in the five-level parking structure leased to City by the
12
Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino to the owners
13
of the Pacific Federal Plaza Building.
(bl The Redevelopment Agency of the City of San Bernardino
14
15 on January 18, 1973, adopted Resolution No. 2658 providing for
16 allocation of 125 undesignated parking spaces within the five-
17 level parking structure to Santa Fe Federal Savings and Loan
18 Association, the predecessor to Pacific Federal Plaza Savings and
19 Loan Association, however, that allocation was never specifically
20 concurred in by the City of San Bernardino, as provided for in a
21 lease agreement between the City and the Redevelopment Agency
22 relating to use of the five-level parking structure.

(cl The Mayor and Common Council now desire to concur in the
24 allocation of undesignated parking spaces in the five-level
25 parking structure to the building now known as Pacific Federal
26 Plaza Building for use in accordance with the lease between the
27 City and Redevelopment Agency relating to the use of the five-
28 ilevel parking structure and the report of Armstrong Ulmer Gruen

Associates, Inc. referred to therein. Such use shall be without
charge so long as such spaces remain undesignated, except as
specified in Section 2(c) below, provided that in the event the
owners of Pacific Federal Plaza Building desire to have spaces
specifically designated to that building, a charge shall be made
for the spaces in accordance with the rates then being charged
other users.
SECTION 2. Implementation. The Mayor and Common Council
therefore resolve:
(a) 125 undesignated parking spaces in the five-level
parking structure located adjacent to City Hall are hereby
allocated to the Pacific Federal Plaza Building, for use of the
occupants of that building, which allocation shall be effective
solely in conjunction with the ownership, use and operation of
said buildingl this allocation is not separately transferable or
assignable.
(b) In the event City hereafter elects to assess charges pe
space for persons and firms to whom parking spaces have been
allocated but remain undesignated, any such charge shall apply
equally to the spaces allocated herein.
(c) This resolution shall not be deemed to grant, authorize
withhold or affect in any manner any parking credits which may be
authorized by ordinance or resolution for properties within the
Central City Parking District.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
