HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-151 RESOLUTION NO. 2006-151 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES TO BE EXCHANGED BETWEEN AND AMONG THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AND THE COUNTY OF SAN BERNARDINO RESULTING FROM THE JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE DESCRIBED BY LAFCO 3050 FOR THE ANNEXATION OF UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY LOCATED IN THE ARROWHEAD SPRINGS AREA, GENERALLY NORTHERLY AND NORTHEASTERLY OF STATE HIGHWAY 18 AND OLD WATERMAN CANYON ROAD, TO BE KNOWN AS ANNEXATION NO. 360. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Recitals. That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino hereby find and determine that: A. Pursuant to Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, prior to the issuance of a certificate of filing by the Local Agency Formation Commission Executive Otlicer, 13 the governing bodies of all local agencies whose service area or service responsibilities will be 14 15 altered by a proposed jurisdictional change shall negotiate and determine by resolution the amount of property tax revenues to be exchanged between and among such local agencies. 16 17 B. Except as provided in Section 99.1 of the Revenue an Taxation Code, in the 18 event that a jurisdictional change would affect the service area or service responsibility of one or 19 more special districts, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Bernardino shall, on behalf 20 of the district or districts, negotiate any exchange of property tax revenues. 21 22 23 C.
