2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO DECLARING ITS INTENTION
TO ORDER THE VACATION OF PORTIONS OF THE EAST SIDE OF OLIVE AVENUE, NORTH OF
3 OHIO AVENUE, THE NORTH AND SOUTH SIDE OF OHIO AVENUE, BETWEEN OLIVE AVENUE
AND PINE AVENUE, AND THE WEST SIDE OF PINE AVENUE, NORTH OF BELMONT AVENUE
4 AND RESERVING AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES THEREIN.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino hereby declares
its intention to order the vacation of
portions of the East side of Olive Avenue, North of Ohio Avenue, the North
and South side of Ohio Avenue, between Olive Avenue and Pine Avenue, and the
West side of Pine Avenue, North of Belmont Avenue described as follows:
Those portions of Ohio Avenue, Pine Avenue and Olive
Avenue, City of San Bernardino, County of San Bernardino,
State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Southeasterly 2.00 feet of Olive Avenue
AND the Northeasterly 14.00 feet of Ohio Avenue AND the
Northwesterly 2.00 feet of Pine Avenue, as dedicated for
street and highway purposes to said City as Document No.
723, recorded in Book 9368, page 1439, Official Records
of said County.
PARCEL TWO: That portion of said Ohio Avenue, lying
Southwesterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot 7 of Tract
No. 10458, as recorded in Book 154 of Maps, pages 8-10,
Records of said County; thence Northeasterly, along the
Northeasterly line of said Lot, a distance of 49.44 feet
to the True Point of Beginning; thence Northeasterly,
along the Northeasterly prolongation of said
Northwesterly line, a distance of 19.03 feet; thence
North 720 24' 58" East, a distance of 15.54 feet to a
point on a line that is parallel with and 30.00 feet
Southeasterly of the centerline of said Ohio Avenue;
thence Southeasterly, along said parallel line, a
distance of 189.00 feet; thence South 170 35' 06" East, a
distance of 18.39 feet; thence Southwesterly, along the
Northeasterly prolongation of the Southeasterly line of

SECTION 2.
That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
Bernardino, in vacating the above described portion of said streets ,elects
to proceed under and in accordance with the provisions of the "Public
Streets, Highways and Services Vacation Law", being Division 9, Part 3, of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3.
That
the hour of 10:00 A.M. on the 18th day of
July, 1988, in the Council Chamber of the City Hall,
San
Bernardino,
California, be, and the same hereby is fixed as the time and place when and
where all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation may
appear before the said Mayor and Common Council and offer evidence in
relation thereto.
For further particulars as to the proposed vacation of
the hereinbefore described portion of said streets, reference is made to
that map marked "Plan No. 7376" approved December 21, 1987, on file in
the office of the City Clerk of said City.
SECTION
4. Nothing in this Resolution shall in any way affect
or disturb any existing easements for public utility
purposes belonging
either to the City of San Bernardino or to any public utility and there
is hereby reserved for future general public utility purposes and for this
City an
easement
reasonably necessary to locate such public utility
facilities
over, in, under or across the real property hereinabove
described and to use, maintain, repair, replace or renew such facilities.

hereby is directed to cause Notices of street Vacation to be posted as
required by the Public Streets, Highways and Services Vacation Law.
SECTION 6. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution of Intention and shall cause the same to be published once a
week for two successive weeks in The Sun, a newspaper published and
circulated in the City of San Bernardino. prior to the date of the above
public hearing.
