Request Carol A. Thrasher be considered for appointment to serve on the Planning
Commission. A copy of Ms. Thrasher's resume is attached for your information.
The resignation of Paul Chaney and the compatability between the Planning and Building
Commissions create an ideal situation for Ms. Thrasher to be on both Commissions.

Carol A. Thrasher

San Bernardino. CA 92405-4111

Introducing: Carol Thrasher
Carol Thrasher likes a challenge. Real Estate has offered her
a direction and a challenge.
Carol's background is diverse. She has lived in many different
states, but is happiest in California. During the 1960's, she
worked as an office manager for an international firm. She
handled major contracts and her overall supervisory experience
taught her financial, as well as people skills. In her next
position, accounting manager for a large investment corporation,
those financial skills were further augmented as she streamlined
all accounting functions.
In the late 1970's, she moved a step closer to her ultimate goal.
As controller for a company who managed homeowner associations
and owned three real estate offices throughout California, she
found an interest in real estate. This position strengthened
her financial skills while building knowledge in real estate.
In 1981 she served on the Board of Directors for the California
Community Association Institute.

During this period she also prepared tax
Ombudsman for a Navy squadron.
Carol's next move provided a year of computer programming at a
technical school and self-employment as an accounting service.
She also served on the local school board, which enhanced her
negotiation skills.
Returning to California in 1988, Carol reopened her accounting
service, but this was not enough to keep her challenged. She
obtained her California Real Estate License and found a career
that would continually offer that challenge. Carol believes in
moving forward and has taken many real estate and financial
courses to give her the advantage and knowledge to be one of
the best in her field.
Carol is a California Notary Public and offers this service as
a convenience to her clients. Carol has completed the Graduate
Realtors Institute program and is currently working on a Certified
Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. She is also
working towards a Mortgage Banking Certificate offered thru
California State University San Bernardino.
Carol Thrasher is a straight-forward, honest, knowledgeable,
diligent professional. She believes in herself and works hard
to do her best for her clients.
