A. Regional Representative Report - Nancy Cisneros
. Update on the State Budget crisis
INFORMATION:
. Grassroots report, including LOCAL update
Labor/Administration roundtable has now officially formed GOAL
("Governments Organized in Association with Labor"). The co-chairs
are I.E. Division Pr'lsident Janice Rutherford and AFL-CIO
representative Lor; Stalnaker. The group will meet quarterly or as
'leeded tnd will be )articipating in May's Legislative Action Days.
ACTICJN 1 r;lties that are setting up individual appointments with their
legislators during legislative Action days can contact Nancy Cisneros
for assistance in getting representatives from labor, business, and
public safety to attend those meetings with the cities. 2. Please send
uniformed public ,afety officers to participate in the dinner and rally
during the Legislaliv Action days (tentative schedule is noted below).
B. Roundtable Report - City representatives present

E. Presentation regarding SB 34 - Bob Owen, City Attorney, City of Rialto
INFORMA nON: Inf'Jrmation on this bill by Senator Soto's office dealing
with perchlorate issues was provided by the City of Rialto Assistant City
Administrator Kirbv Warner. No action taken pending receipt of
proposed language ot the legislation.
