EPLER COMPANY, INC., RELATING TO AN EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING WORK IN CONNECTION WITH THE CITY'S EMPLOYEE GROUP INSURANCE PROGRAM. 3 4 5 6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: 7 SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby 8 authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City a 9 Second Amendment to Agreement with Robert M. Epler Company, Inc., 10 relating to an extension of the agreement for consulting work in 11 connection with the City's Employee Group Insurance Program, a 12 copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and 13 incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at 14 length. 15 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the f"','L" resolution was duly 16 adopted by the M!lYor ... f .' Hobbs, Strickler 22 NAYS: None 23 ABSENT: None 24 ~~~i!~ 25 26 27 of The foregoing resolution is December , 1981. ernardino 28 Approved as to form: t!!!5 II "'\. 1 SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT 2 (Employees' Group Insurance) 3 THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT is entered into between 4 the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, a municipal corporation, referred to 5 6 as "City", and ROBERT M. EPLER COMPANY, INC., a California corporation, referred to as "Consultant". 7 City and Consultant agree as follows: 8 1. Recitals. 9 (a) City and Consultant entered into an agreement on 10 January 5, 1978, and a first amendment to agreement on October 17, 11 1980 ("the agreement"), relating to consulting work in connection 12 with the City's employee group insurance program. 13 (b) The parties now desire to extend the agreement for a 14 period not to exceed sixty days. 15 2. Term. The term of the agreement is extended for an 16 additional period commencing December I, 1981 and terminating 17 February I, 1982. 18 3. Other Provisions.
