Recommended motion:
1.
That the transfer of $94,400, from Account No. 248-368-57813,
"Pershing Avenue, from 40th Street to 48th Street," to Account
No. 248-368-57835, "Redlands Boulevard, from Hunts Lane to
Waterman Avenue," be approved.
That the plans for construction of a storm drain in Redlands
Blvd., from Hunts Lane to Waterman Avenue, in accordance with Plan
No. 8072, be approved; and the Director of Public Works/City En-

STAFF REPORT
Plans for the construction of the master plan storm drain
in Redlands Boulevard, from Hunts Lane to Waterman Avenue, have
been prepared by Engineering Division personnel and the project
is ready to be advertised for bids. The pipe installed by this
project will connect to the existing storm drain in Hunts Lane,
and receive storm water from the storm drain to be constructed
in Waterman Avenue by the pavement rehabilitation project.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 379,240
Engineering & Inspection (W.O. #1593) 43,100
Sub-Total $ 422,340
Contingencies (7%) :t 29,660
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 452,000
An amount of $357,600 has been allocated, under Account
No. 248-368-57835, to finance the costs incurred for this
project. Supplemental funds in the amount of $94,400 will,
therefore, be required to fully finance the total estimated
project cost. It is recommended that the $94,400 be transferred
from the allocation of $775,000, under Account No. 248-368-
57813, for Pershing Avenue, from 40th Street to 48th Street.
We recommend that the plans be
authorization granted to advertise for bids.
