payaent of appraisal and title services. also. authorization was
given for the pa~Dt of a Real Estate Broker's c~ission in the
1180unt of six percent (61) of the sales price. incidental to the
sale of that certain City-owned property.

STAFF REPORT
The subject properties were appraised by Ralph Monge SR/WA on Noveaber 11. 1989.
His valuatiODS are the aini_ bid prices on each parcel.
The bid peckages have all been prepared and attached in accordance with the
past practices.
The previous resolution. 90-111. is being rescinded and a new resolution is being
substituted to correct adainistrative scheduling probleas.
Upon passage of the enclosed resolution. the bid packages will be _iled out to
those potential buyers who have expressed interest in the properties. and the
City will advertise in The Sun. July 18. and July 19. 1990. and the Resolution
shall be posted outside Council Chubers for the sue two days.
The Real Property Section will proceed with the sale of the properties. and all
sealed bids shall be openedA\J8U8t 2. 1990 at 2:00 ]lII in the third floor
conference roo.. Any accepted bid wUl be net of any broker's fee. The results
of the sealed bid opening will be presanted to the Mayor and Coaaon Council at
the August 20. 1990 Council Meeting. at which ti.e any oral bids will be
accepted.
The City will pay ~ of the escrow and closing costs on each escrow.

WHEREAS, the City of San Bernardino, a lI\II1icipel corporation, is

the hour of 2:00 p.a., August 2, 1990, at which tiae said sealed bids shall
be opened and publicly declared. The results of said bidding shall be
subaitted to the Mayor and Coaaon Council at the hour of 10:00 a.a. at the
Council Chaabers, City Hall, 300 North "D" Street, San Bernardino,
California, at the next regularly scheduled Council Meeting set for August

The oral bidding for the sale or disposition of the property shall be
continued in the SIlJlle lIIlDI1er until all bidding shall have been cOllpleted,
and an award aade to the highest bidder ~ a 4/5th vote as defined in
Section 12.90.040D of the San Bernardino ltunicipal Code. The successful
bidder, as dete~ined ~ the Hayor and Co.on Council, shall.Ice a non-
refundable deposit by cash, cashier's check or .oney order in an ~ount,
which together with any deposit IIIlde with a sealed bid of bidder, shall
equal ten percent (101) of the total price bid for the property. Such
