STAFF REPORT
The Federal Highway Administration uses a program
supplement to obligate Federal-Aid funds.
Program Supplement No. 60 will serve to obligate $409,400
in Federal-Aid Urban Funds to finance 100% of the construction
and construction engineering costs for modifying the traffic
signals on "E" Street, from 6th Street to 9th Street, and 9th
Street, from "H" Street to Sierra Way.
An amount of $19,200 will be obligated by Program
Supplement No. 61 for 100% of the preliminary engineering cost.
We recommend that these program supplements be approved.
URGENCY CLAUSE
In order for this project to be funded from the 1989/90 State
Budget, these program supplements must be fully executed before
the end of this fiscal year. Failure to have these approved on
6-18-90 will mean they will be financed from the 1990/91 State
Budget, when adopted.
