CI~f' OF SAN BERNARDIN~ - REQ~ST FOR COUNCIL A~ION
STAFF REPORT
At the May 7, 1990 meeting, the Mayor and Common Council set
a public hearing to consider various revenue enhancement
alternatives relative to enhancing security in the downtown
area. This item has been considered by the Ways and Means
Committee since May 7 and a final recommendation has not yet
been prepared by the Committee for consideration by the Mayor
and Common Council.
It should be noted that the Ways and Means Committee is only
considering security enhancement alternatives based on
existing financial resources. It is not envisioned at this
time that the revenue enhancement alternatives outlined in
the May 7 Council motion will be recommended by the Ways and
Means Committee for consideration by the Mayor and Common
Council.
