RESOLUTION NO.
2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO APPROVING THE
DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS BY THE CIVIL SERVICE DEPARTMENT.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
4 SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SEC'rION 1. The Mayor and Common Council of the City of San
6 Bernardino do hereby approve the destruction by the Civil Service
7 Department of certain records, more particularly described in
8 Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein as fully as
9 though set forth at length.

SECTION 2. It is hereby found and determined that the
11 records are no longer needed, and that they may be destroyed
12 pursuant to Government Code Section 34090, upon the written
13 consent of the City Attorney.
14 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
15 adopted by the l"iayor and Common Council of the City of San
16
Bernardino at an adiourned reqular
meeting thereof, held

Civil Service Department
records to be destroyed
All records prepared or dated prior to December 31, 1979, or particularly des-
cribed as follows:
1. Applications for positions.
2. Notices to appear for examinations.
3. Notices of passing or failing tests.
4. Score sheets of examinations, written, oral and
proficiency.
5. Correspondence to the Civil Service Department of the
City of San Bernardino.
Any of the above records, in the opinion of the Chief Examiner of the Civil
Service Department, that may be of importance to his department or the City
of San Bernardino would not be destroyed.
