RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO IMPOSING LIENS ON
CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO FOR THE COSTS OF THE ABATEMENT OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City of San Bernardino, pursuant to its
authority under San Bernardino Municipal Code Section 3.68.020 and
San Bernardino Municipal Code Chapters 8.18, 8.27, 8.30, 8.33 and
15.28 and other laws, did lawfully cause public nuisance
abatements on projects on the real property described on Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated by reference as fully as
though set forth at length. The last known owners of record as to
each such parcel are also specified in Exhibit "A".
Due notice was given to the perSO!l or per'soIls haviny an
interest in said property and a tearing was held by the Board of
Building Commissioners to hear protests and to assess the costs of
said abatements on said property. The Board of Building
Commissioners has entered its order determining the costs to be
reasonable and proper, and imposing a lien upon the land involved.
Notice of the right of appeal to the Mayor and Common Council has
been issued to all affected property holders. The Board of
Building Commissioners now requests that the Mayor and Common
Council confirm the imposition of the lien.
SECTION 2. The matter having now come before the Mayor and
Common Council for hearing on confirmation of the imposition of
the lien imposed, and a hearing thereon having been held, the
following costs are found to have been duly incurred by the City
1 pursuant to proceedings under said provisions of the San
2 Bernardino Municipal Code and the final statements of costs on
3 file with the City Clerk are hereby confirmed and adopted as
4 special assessments:

SECTION 3.
If said sum is not fully paid to the City Clerk,
]2 City Hall, San Bernardino, within five (5) days after the adoption
13 of this resolution as to any such individual parcel, then said sum
14 shall be and become a lien on said property pursuant to said
15 Municipal Code provisions and applicable laws and shall be
16 collected as a special assessment thereon.

SECTION 4.
In the event said sum is not paid as hereinabove
18 provided, the City Clerk is hereby directed to file a certified
19 copy of this resolution with the Auditor of the County of San
20 Bernardino, State of California, directing that said sum be
21 entered as lien charges against said property as it appears on the
22 current assessment rolls, to be collected at the same time and in
23 the same manner, subject to the same penalties and interest upon
24 delinquencies, as the general taxes for the City of San Bernardino
25 are collected. The City Clerk shall also present for recording
26 appropriate notices of the imposition of these liens with the
27 County Recorder.
