RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO MODIFYING FEES FOR
PLANNING SERVICES, ENGINEERING SERVICES, AND USES OF BUILDINGS,
SPORTS FACILITIES, AND EQUIPMENT, AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NOS.
13371, 79-272 AND 79-254, AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 79-43 AND
80-441.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Findings. The Mayor and Common Council hereby
8 find:

A. Hearing has been held by the Mayor and Common Council
10 pursuant to the provisions of Government Code Section 54990, et
11 seq., to consider the levy of new and additional fees and service
12 charges for various services provided by the Planning Department,
13 Department of Public Works/City Engineer, and Park and Recreation
14 Department, and for uses of certain buildings, facilities, and
15 equipment, which hearing was held following public notice
16 published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of San
17 Bernardino.

B. None of the proposed increases exceed the actual cost of
19 providing such services and facilities, and, for those services
20 which are not completely paid for by the proposed fees, the
21 additional expense to the City of providing the services shall be
22 borne by the general fund of the City of San Bernardino.

C. The proposed fees and charges are reasonable and
24 necessary to enable the City of San Bernardino to more nearly meet
25 the actual costs of providing such services and facilities.
Implementation. Effective July 1, 1983, the
26

SECTION 3. Repeal and Amendment of Prior Resolutions.
6 Resolution Nos. 13371, 79-272 and 79-254 are hereby repealed. To
7 the extent that this resolution affects fees established in
8 Resolution Nos. 79-43 and 80-441, said resolutions are hereby
9 amended and modified in accordance herewith.
