STAFF REPORT
Plans for the construction of a box culvert on Lynwood
Drive, at Sand Creek Flood Control Channel, have been prepared
by the Engineering Division, and the project is ready to be
advertised for bids. The project consists of constructing a box
culvert to replace the existing dip section.
Listed below is an estimate of the total project cost:
Construction Contract $ 388,418
Engineering & Insp. (W.O #1594) 42,250
Sub-Total $ 430,668
Contingencies (15%) :!: 64,332
TOTAL ESTIMATED PROJECT COST $ 495,000
The current balance in the Indian Bingo Settlement Fund
(246) is $367,000. Another payment, in the amount of $150,000,
is due to be received by 10-01-90, in accordance with the
settlement agreement on the Indian Bingo facility. This payment
will increase the balance to $ 517,000, which will be sufficient
to cover the total estimated project cost.
At their meeting of 4-19-90, the Environmental Review
Committee recommended approval of a Negative Declaration.
We recommend that the plans be
authorization granted to advertise for bids.
