STAFF RESOURCES AND CAPABILITIES EXECUTIVE DIVISION John W. Pierce - Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Pierce has personally developed over fifty million dollars worth of residential and commercial real estate. He has some 15 years experience in cost analysis and construction-management for industrial, commercial and residential developments. Mr. Pierce was educated in Accounting at California State University--Fullerton, and has degrees in Communications and Business Administration. He is personally licensed for General Construction in California. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is very active in community associations. Mr. Pierce prides himself on the organization demonstrated by the highly qualified individuals he has surrounded himself. He is married with four children. , J Allan W. Hoekstra . President Mr. Hoekstra is responsible for Asset Management for the company as well as overseeing the areas of Acquisitions and Project Management with Mr. Pierce. He has some 24 years experience in real estate, including the direct management and leasing of regional shopping centers, Head of Property Management for Jewel Companies and Head of Real Estate Operations for two national syndication companies. He has been involved with the purchase and management of more than three billion dollars worth of real estate. Mr. Hoekstra received his CSM designation from the International Council of Shopping Centers in 1975. :1 .' ACQUISITIONS/DUE DlUGENCE DIVISION Mark D. Drenner - Director, Acquisitions Mr. Drenner is responsible for the Acquisition and Due Diligence Departments. He has some 12 years of real estate experience and has been involved in more than 710 million dollars worth of real estate transactions. Most recently Mr. Drenner has been the owner of his own Real Estate Brokerage firms, NORTHST AR INVESTMENT BROKERS and REAL ESTATE ESTABLISHMENT, INC. and prior to that he was Vice President of Management with the George Elkins Company, responsible for all residential sales activity in Orange County. Prior to that he was a real estate agent. Mr. Drenner obtained his Brokerage license in 1978. He is a member of numerous Southern California groups, including ICSC, RIAOC, the Old Town Preservation Association of Orange, and others. CONSTRUCTION DIVISION Ralph F. Elrod - Executive Manager of Construction Mr. Elrod has had the direct control of the construction of over 40 regional and convenience shopping centers, which included the following major retailers; K-Mart Corp" Target Stores, Mervyns, W.T. Grant, Albertsons, Save Mart, Safeway, Thrifty Drug, Payless Drug and Clothestime. He also has extensive background in multiple and residential housing. Mr. Elrod is personally licensed for General Construction in the State of California and has had direct experience in nine of the eleven western states. Mr. Elrod and his staff have over 50 years of combined experience in construction. 1 ARCHITECTURE AND PLANNING DIVISION Mr. Arneson has 25 years experience in the design and development of numerous commercial and residential projects. His portfolio includes large single-family subdivisions, high-density apartment complexes, multi-story office buildings and regional shopping centers. He was educated at the University of Southern California and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. His primary responsibilities include: David L. Arneson, A.I.A. - Director of Architecture A) Implementation of his creative skills in the overall architectural design phase of development. B) Coordination and incorporation of the collective needs of City Planners, the specific needs of tenants as communicated by leasing representatives and tenants themselves, and recommendations by team consultants regarding landscape planning and signage requirements. Griffith - Executive Project Manager/Attorney at Law Mr. Griffith heads up the vital area of Project Management within NEW FRONTIER. As Project Manager for various developments he oversees the "team" of in-house professionals through the development phases. Mr. Griffith received his law degree from the College of William and Mary and was admitted to practice in the State of California in 1980. He previously was General Counsel and Executive Vice President for a Woodland Hills, California development group. Mr. Griffith was also General Counsel for a Brentwood based syndication firm. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION , Dean P. Cassler - President of NEW FRONTIER PROPERTY MANAGEMENT Mr. Cassier is responsible for the "hands on" management of completed properties held by NEW FRONTIER. He has implemented advanced computer systems, customising computer software to meet the elaborate detail required for property management.
