Nikola Corporation, of Irvine, the apparent low bidder, has met the minimum requirements of the specifications and bid guidelines; and, therefore, recommends that the Mayor and Common Council award the referenced contract to Nikola Construction Corporation. The estimated project costs are as follows: $1,163,255.00 $ 162,257.00 $ 174,488.00 $1 500 000.00 If approved, this project is expected to begin construction in June of 2005 and be completed by October of 2005. Financial Imoact: Adequate funding for these projects is available in FY 2004/2005 CIP, subject to adjustment of the various accounts as indicated in the attached Sewer Project-Cost Distribution spreadsheet.
