Staff Report
Subject:
Reject all bids for sidewalks submitted in response to Bid No. F-05-029.
Background:
The sidewalks project went out for bid (RFQ No. F-05-029) and a job walk was conducted on
December 9, 2004.
Three bids were received on December 21, 2004 for 17,000 sq.ft of sidewalk at Meadowbrook
Park and 190-sq. ft. at Nicholson Park. The following bids were received:

Parks, Recreation and Community Services staff reviewed the three bids. Upon review of the
bids it was determined that the bids exceeded the projects budget estimate. Staff will evaluate
the technical specifications and consider pre-packaging this Scope of Work with other park/City
projects to achieve cost savings.
