CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO - REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION
STAFF REPORT
BACKGROUND
On January 24, 2005 a joint public hearing was held for the Disposition and Development
Agreement with Senior Housing Advocate Corporation. The hearing was opened; however, the
hearing was not closed at that meeting.
As part of the procedure process for public hearings, a hearing must be opened and closed by the
legislative body. At the January 24, 2005 Mayor and Common Council/Community
Development Commission meeting the hearing was not closed. This is just a technicality, but
nevertheless, the proper procedure should be followed.
RECOMMENDED MOTION:
That the Mayor and Common Council/Community Development Commission close the public
hearing.
