2 ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND, AND kMENDING
THE LAND USE ZONING ~1AP, WHICH IS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN
3 SECTION 19.06.020 OF THE SAN BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE. (PETITION
NO. 1179, LOCATED ON A 27 ACRE SITE BOUNDED BY 6TH STREET TO THE
4 NORTH, 5TH STREET TO THE SOUTH AND STERLING AVENUE TO THE WEST.)
5 THE MAYOR AND CO~~iON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the San Bernardino
7
Municipal Code, the following described parcels of real property
8
generally located on a 27 acre site bounded by 6th Street to the
9
north, 5th Street to the south and Sterling Avenue to the west,
10
are rezoned as set forth below, subject to the conditions imposed

by the Mayor and Common Council of the City of San Bernardino at
12
their meeting of February 2, 1981, which are on file in the
13
office of the City Clerk of the City of San Bernardino:
All that real property situated in the City of
San Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, State
of California, described as follows:

PARCEL NO.1:

That portion of Lot 4 and the west one-half of
Lot 3"; Block 62, Rancho San Bernardino, in the
County of San Bernardino, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 7, Page 2 of maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows:

Beginning at the intersection of the center line
of Sterling Avenue with the south line of the
Pacific Electric Railway Company's right of way
described in the deed to the San Bernardino Arrow-
head and Waterman Railroad Company, dated January
2, 1888 and recorded in Book 104, Page 173 of
deeds, in the office of the County Recorder of
said County; thence east 1,985.45 feet along said
south line to the east line of said west one-half
of said Lot 3; thence south 629.52 feet along said
east line to its intersection with the east-west
fence line; thence west 1,985.45 feet to a point
on the center line of said Sterling Avenue, which
is 576.87 feet south of the point of beginning;
thence north 576.87 feet along said center line
to the point of beginning.

Bernardino, in the City of San Bernardino, County
of San Bernardino, State of California, as per map
recorded in Book 7, Page 2 of maps, in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the center line
of Sterling Avenue with the south line of the
Pacific Electric Railway Company's right of way
as described in the deed to the San Bernardino
Arrowhead and Waterman Railroad Company, dated
January 2, 1888, and recorded in Book 104, Page
173 of deeds, Records of said County; thence
south along the centerline of said Sterling
Avenue, a distance of 576.87 feet, to the south-
west corner of the land conveyed to Title In-
surance and Trust Company and et al., by deed
recorded February 8, 1973 in Book 8117 Page 600
of Official Records, records of said County;
said point being the point of beginning; thence
continuing south along the said centerline,
29.31 feet to the north line of the land conveyed
to the County of San Bernardino, by deed recorded
February 4, 1948 in Book 2118, Page 129 of Official
Records of said County; thence easterly along the
said north line, to its intersection with the
south line of said Title Insurance and Trust
Company property; thence westerly along the said south
line, to the point of beginning.

SECTION 2. The zoning map, which is incorporated by

Code, is amended to reflect the changes of zone set forth in

this ordinance.
