2 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO REZONING A CERTAIN
PARCEL OF LAND, AMENDING THE LAND USE ZONING MAP, WHICH IS
3 INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE IN SECTION 19.06.020 OF THE SAN
BERNARDINO MUNICIPAL CODE (PETITION NO. 85-22, A RECTANGULARLY-
4 SHAPED PARCEL OF LAND CONSISTING OF APPROXIMATELY .22 ACRES
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 7TH STREET AND PERSHING
5 AVENUE), AND ADOPTING THE NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL
REVIEW.

THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO
7 DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
8 SECTION 1. Pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the San Bernardino
9 Municipal Code, the following described parcel of real property,
10 a rectangularly-shaped percel of land consisting of
11 approximately .22 acres located at the northwest corner of 7th
12 Street and Pershing Avenue, is rezoned from R-3-1200, Multiple-
13 Family Residential District, to C-4, Central Business District:
14 All that real property situated in the City of
San Bernardino, County of San Bernardino, State
15 of California, described as follows:
16 All that portion of Lot 2, Block 50 of the City
of San Bernardino in the City of San Bernardino,
17 County of San Bernardino, State of California,
as per plat recorded in Book 7 of Maps, Page 1,
18 Records of said County, described as follows:
19 Beginning at the intersection of the west line
of Pershing Street, formerly known as Pearl
20 Street, with the north line of 7th Street in
said City; thence running west along the north
21 line of 7th Street 62 and 1/2 feet; thence north
149 feet and 9 inches more or less to a point in
22 the north line of said lot 2; thence east along
the north line of said lot 2 to the west line
23 of Pershing Street, formerly known as Pearl
Street, thence south along the west line of Pearl
24 Street, now known as Pershing Street, 149 feet
9 inches more or less to the point of beginning.

27 SECTION 2. The zoning map, which is incorporated by
28 reference in Section 19.06.020 of the San Bernardino Municipal
MC-491
1 Code, is amended to reflect the change of zone set forth in this
2 ordinance.
3 SECTION 3. The negative declaration for environmental
4 review, as adopted by the Environmental Review Committee,
5 attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A", and incorporated herein by
6 reference, is hereby approved and adopted.
