HomeMy WebLinkAbout1990-328 .. . 1 2 3 RESOLUTION NO. 9'o-u'};{l RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO SPECIFYING THE AMOUNT OF THE ASSESSMENTS REMAINING UNPAID AND AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY AUDITOR TO COLLECT THE ANNUAL INSTALLMENTS OF PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON SUCH ASSESSMENTS 4 5 6 7 8 ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 985 (Industrial Parkway Improvement District) WHEREAS, on January 1, 1990, the Mayor and Common 9 Council and Council") of City San of the (the "Common 10 Bernardino, California (the "City"), adopted Resolution No. 89- 11 489 modifying and confirming the assessment for Assessrnen~ 12 District No. 985 (the "Assessment District"); and 13 14 WHEREAS, on February 21, 1990, the Common Council adopted Resolution No. 90-57, determining, among other matters 15 16 17 18 19 that the assessments remaining unpaid and upon the security of which bonds have been issued for the Assessment District is the amount of $1,101,681.82; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 8682 of the Streets and Highways Code, a copy of the order of the Common Council deter- mining the assessments remaining unpaid and upon the security of which bonds have been issued shall be filed in the office of the 20 21 22 23 24 25 County of San Bernardino; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO, CALIFORNIA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Unpaid Assessments. The amount of the 26 assessments remaining unpaid and upon which the secur i ty of 27 which bonds have been issued for the Assessment District is 28 $1,101,681.82. . A certified copy of this resolution shall be filed with the County Auditor of the County of San Bernardino pursuant to Section 8682 of the Streets and Highways Code. Pursuant to said Section 8682, the County Auditor shall keep a record in his office showing the several installments of principal and interest on the assessments which are to be collected in each year during the term of the bonds; and the County Auditor shall annually enter in his assessment roll on which taxes will next become due, opposite each lot or parcel of land affected in a space marked "public improvement assessment," or by other suitable designation, the several installments of the assessment coming due during the fiscal year 13 covered by the assessment roll, including in each the case 14 interest due on the total unpaid assessments. 15 III 16 III 17 III 18 III 19 III 20 III 21 III 22 III 23 III 24 III 25 III 26 III 27 III 28 III -2- r .
