RESOLUTION NO. 91-431
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE
OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED FOR THAT CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY KNOWN AS SECCOMBE LAKE
STATE URBAN RECREATION AREA BOUNDED BY 5TH STREET, 7TH STREET, WATERMAN
AVENUE AND SIERRA WAY IN THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor of the City of San Bernardino is hereby
7 authorized and directed to accept on behalf of said City a Quit Claim Deed
8 from the State of California, a copy of which is attached hereto marked
9 Exhibit "A" and incorporated by reference herein as fully as though set
10 forth at length, concerning that certain real property in the City of San
11 Bernardino, California more particularly described.in siid Quit Claim Deed,
12 and known as Seccombe Lake State Urban Recreation Area bounded by 5th Street,
13 7th Street, Waterman Avenue and Sierra Way.

SECTION 2. City hereby consents to recordatlon thereof by its duly
15 authorized officer.

STATE OF CALIFORNIA
QUITtlAIM DEED
Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 1488, Statutes of 1986, the STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, through its duly appointed, qualified and acting Director of
General Services, hereby quitclaims to City of San Bernard1no, a municipal
corporation, all its right, title and interest in and to the following
described real property in the County of San Bernardino, State of California:
As shown on the attached Exhibit "All, consisting of four (4) pages,
and by this reference made a part hereof.
This deed is made subject to the express condition that the real property
herein conveyed shall be operated, maintained, and improved by the city for
park purposes in perpetuity, and no other use, sale, or disposition of the
property shall be permitted except by specifiC act of the Legislature.
Further, if authorized by sllecific act of the Legislature, upon a breach of
any condition of this transfer, the state may reenter the property, and upon
that reentry, the interest of the City of San Bernardino shall terminate and
all right, title, and interest in the property shall revert to the State of
California. . .
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING to the State of California all mineral deposits as
defined in Section 6407 of the Public Resources Code below a depth of
500 feet, without surface rights of entry.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF. the State has caused this Quitclaim Deed to be executed
