FOR INSTALLATION OF HIGHWAY SAFETY LIGHTING ON WATERMAN AVENUE, FROM SECOND STREET TO NINTH STREET, AND APPROVING CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER NUMBER ONE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: is the lowest Electric, paxin Inc. SECTION 1. 7 responsible bidder for: Installation of Highway Safety Lighting 8 on Waterman Avenue, from Second Street to Ninth Street, in 9 accordance with Plan No. 8201. A contract is awarded to said 10 bidder accordingly for the total amount of $58,324.00, but such 11 award shall be effective only upon the contract being fully 12 executed by the parties. All other bids, therefore, are hereby 13 rejected. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute 14 said contract on behalf of the City; a copy of the contract is on 15 file in the office of the City Clerk and incorporated herein by 16 reference as fully as though set forth at length. 17 SECTION 2. Contract Change Order Number One is approved, 18 to increase the contract price by $4,082.00, from $58,324.00 to 19 $62,406.00, due to price increases since the bid opening and 20 reduction in the scope of the project. 21 SECTION 3. This contract and any amendment or modifica- 22 tions thereto shall not take effect or become operative until 23 fully signed and executed by the parties and no party shall be 24 obligated hereunder until the time of such full execution. No 25 26 27 28 amendments, modifications or waivers are oral agreements, intended or authorized and shall not be implied from any act or course of conduct of any party. / / / / 7-24-91 RESO; AWARDING CONTRACT TO PAXIN ELECTRIC, INC.' The scope of work has been decreased by 80X. noted covers the added above costs. The small increase The total costs for construction street lighting on Waterman Ave will be $62,406.00.
