RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY, A CORPORATION, FOR THE UNDERGROUNDING OF ELECTRICAL TRANSMISSION LINES OVER CITY-OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 21ST STREET, EAST OF VALENCIA (PORTION OF PERRIS HILL PARK). BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The centerline of the first strip being described as follows: Strio No 1 /6 feet in width\ COMMENCING at the intersection of 21st Street and Valencia Avenue, as now established; thence South 80056'22" East, a distance of 65 feet; thence North 0002'25~ East, a distance of 30 feet more or less to a point on the northerly line of said 21 st Street, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 450 East, a distance of 10 feet; thence Easterly parallel to the northerly line of said 21st Street 787 feet to a point hereinafter referred to as Point ~A". The Grantee, and its contractors, agents and employees, shall have the right to trim or cut tree roots as may endanger or interfere with said systems and shall have free access to said systems and every part thereof, at all times, for the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted; provided, however, that in making any excavation on said property of the Grantor, the Grantee shall make the same in such manner as will cause the least injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and shall replace the earth so removed by it and restore the surface of the ground to as near the same condition as it was prior to such excavation as is practicable.
