2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE WITH THE NATIONAL ORANGE SHOW, LESSOR,
3 PERTAINING TO A MODIFICATION OF THE TERM IN A LEASE OF PROPERTY TO THE CITY.
AND SITUATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MILL STREET AND ARROWHEAD AVENUE, IN
4 SAN BERNARDINO.
5 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
BERNARDINO AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION
1.
The Mavor of the Citv of San Bernardino is
8 hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of said City, a First
9 Amendment to Lease with the National Orange Show, pertaining to a modifi-
10 cation of the term in the lease of the National Orange Show's property to
11 the Citv of San Bernardino, located at the Southwest corner of Mill Street
12 and Arrowhead Avenue, a copy of which is attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A"
13 and incorporated herein by reference as fully as though set forth at length.

SECTION
2.
The authorization to execute the above-referenced
15 Amendment to Lease is rescinded if the parties to the Amendment to Lease
16 fail to execute it within ninety (90) days of the passage of this
17 resolution.

1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE
2 '[HIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO LEASE is made and entered into this
3 day of . 19 . bv and between the NATIONAL ORANGE
4 SHOW. hereinafter referred to as "Lessor" and the CITY OF SAN BERNARDINO. a
5 municipal corporation. hereinafter referred to as "Lessee".

8 WHEREAS. the parties hereto executed a lease dated December 20.
9 1989. for the use of that certain property fronting on Mill Street and
10 Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino for the purpose of operating a City Fire
11 Station (Fire Station No. 10); and
12 WHEREAS. the parties hereto desire to amend said lease to modify
13 the term as contained therein:
14 NOW. THEREFORE. it is mutually agreed between the parties as
15 follows:
16 1. Section 2 of that lease between the parties hereto dated
17 December 20. 1989. is hereby amended to read as follows:
18 SECTION 2. TERM: The term of this Lease shall be
19 extended for a period of twenty-five (25) years. beginning October 19.
20 1990. and ending October 18. 2015.
21 2. All other terms. conditions and covenants of said lease
22 shall remain the same and be in full force and effect.
